Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using NetRidePRO. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Nature of Service

NetRidePRO is a purpose-built record-keeping platform for Australian rideshare and delivery drivers. It consolidates your income tracking, expense management, mileage logging, and BAS preparation into a single tool — minimising the admin burden so you spend less time on paperwork and more time on the road.

The platform is designed to give every driver — whether you drive full-time or part-time across one or multiple platforms — a clear, organised view of their financial position throughout the year.

What NetRidePRO does:

  • Records and tracks income from all your rideshare and delivery platforms in one place
  • Organises expenses, receipts, and mileage logs to support your BAS and tax deduction claims
  • Generates BAS estimates and summaries to help you stay on top of your GST obligations
  • Gives you a clear picture of your earnings, costs, and profitability throughout the year

Important — what NetRidePRO does not do:

  • The Service is not a registered tax agent under the Tax Agent Services Act 2009 (Cth)
  • All calculations, BAS estimates, and reports are drafts for reference only — not professional tax advice
  • Nothing in the Service constitutes tax, financial, legal, or accounting advice of any kind
  • You remain solely responsible for verifying all outputs before submitting to the ATO

BAS Estimates — Important Limitation

  • BAS estimates are calculated entirely from data you enter. The Service does not verify the accuracy, completeness, or tax deductibility of any expense or income entry.
  • If you incorrectly classify a personal expense as a business expense, the Service will produce an estimate reflecting that classification without warning
  • The Service does not determine whether any expense is legitimately deductible under Australian tax law
  • The Service does not verify mileage claims, business-use percentages, or depreciation inputs against ATO requirements
  • A BAS estimate is a mathematical output based on your inputs only — not a verified tax position
  • The Service does not verify the tax deductibility of expenses entered by the User

We strongly recommend consulting a registered tax agent or accountant before lodging any BAS or tax return with the ATO.

2. Eligibility

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Operate a rideshare or delivery business in Australia under a valid ABN
  • Have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
  • Not be prohibited from using the Service under any applicable law

By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. Your Account

  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
  • Notify us promptly at support@netridepro.com.au of any unauthorised access
  • Not share your account with any other person — each account is for a single user only

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

Plans

Free: limited features, manual entry only, no file storage. Ignite: receipt storage, bank statement imports, BAS reports. Blaze: full feature access, advanced insights, priority support. Current pricing at netridepro.com.au/pricing. Prices in AUD inc. GST.

Free Trial

14-day free trial for new subscribers with no prior paid subscription. No payment required during trial. Subscription converts to paid at trial end unless cancelled. We may send reminder emails before your trial expires. It is your responsibility to monitor your trial end date.

Billing and Failed Payments

Billed in advance monthly or annually. By subscribing you authorise recurring charges. If payment fails we will retry. After multiple failures, subscription is cancelled per Section 5.

Price Changes and Refunds

Price changes notified at least 30 days in advance via email or in-app notification. Continued use = acceptance. Refunds generally not offered for digital services already delivered. Requests considered under Australian Consumer Law — contact support@netridepro.com.au.

5. Cancellation and Data Deletion

Cancellation and Grace Period

Cancel via Settings → Billing & Plan → Manage billing. Takes effect at end of billing period. 30-day grace period follows: data in read-only mode, export available, reactivation restores full access.

Data Deletion

After the 30-day grace period expires, all data is deleted from active systems and queued for removal from backup systems per our backup retention schedule. We are not responsible for data loss once the grace period expires. We will attempt to send reminder emails — delivery not guaranteed. You are responsible for monitoring your account status and exporting data before expiry. Failure to act on reminders creates no obligation on us to retain or recover data.

ATO Record-Keeping and Manual Deletion

ATO requires 5-year retention of tax records — this obligation rests with you. Export data before cancellation. Manual deletion via Settings → Account is immediate and permanent — grace period does not apply. We are not responsible for data loss after manual deletion.

6. Tax File Numbers

Users must not upload any document containing a Tax File Number (TFN) — their own or any other person's.

  • This includes ATO correspondence, payment summaries, group certificates, and any document on which a TFN appears
  • You must redact or black out any TFN before uploading
  • NetRidePRO is not authorised to collect or store TFNs under the Tax File Number Rule 2015
  • Any TFN inadvertently uploaded is provided in breach of these Terms
  • We accept no responsibility for consequences arising from failure to redact TFNs
  • Any TFN discovered in our systems will be deleted

7. Your Data and Intellectual Property

Your Data

You retain full ownership of all data entered or uploaded. We claim no ownership. We hold a limited licence to store and process your data solely to provide the Service — ends when data is deleted.

Our Intellectual Property

The NetRidePRO platform, software, design, features, and branding are owned by us and protected by Australian and international IP law. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part without prior written consent.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use NetRidePRO to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Enter false or fraudulent data or impersonate any person
  • Attempt unauthorised access to the platform or another user's data
  • Use automated tools to scrape or harvest data from the platform
  • Share account credentials with any other person
  • Upload malicious software or content intended to harm the platform
  • Upload documents containing Tax File Numbers in breach of Section 6
  • Use the platform in any way that damages, disables, or impairs it

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action including account suspension or termination.

9. Data Accuracy and AI Parsing

  • Accuracy of all outputs depends entirely on the accuracy of data you provide
  • The Service does not verify the tax deductibility of any expense entered by the User
  • AI parsing may produce errors, omissions, or misinterpretations
  • All AI-parsed results must be reviewed and confirmed by you before being saved — you are the final decision-maker
  • AI-parsed results do not constitute tax or financial advice
  • We do not use your financial data to train AI models

10. Suspension and Termination

Termination by You

Close your account at any time via Settings → Account.

Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate immediately without notice for: material breach of Terms, legal requirement, fraudulent or illegal activity, or account compromise. We may terminate with 30 days notice if we discontinue the Service. Termination for breach: no refund. Other termination: pro-rata refund at our discretion.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, NetRidePRO and its operators are not liable for any loss or damage of any kind, including but not limited to:

  • Direct loss — fees, charges, or costs from using or being unable to use the Service
  • Indirect or consequential loss — loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, anticipated savings, or goodwill, even if advised of the possibility of such loss
  • ATO-related losses — penalties, interest, audit costs, tax shortfalls, or compliance costs from reliance on any Service output
  • Data loss — from service interruption, account closure, expiry of the grace period, or any other cause
  • Third-party losses — from acts or omissions of any third-party provider
  • Security breaches — from unauthorised access resulting from weak, reused, or compromised passwords

Liability Cap

Paid subscribers: total liability capped at subscription fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. Free tier users: total liability capped at AUD $10.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any right or remedy implied or imposed by the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Service Availability

  • Service provided on "as is" and "as available" basis
  • No guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free access
  • Scheduled maintenance announced where possible via email or in-app notification
  • Not liable for loss from planned or unplanned interruptions
  • We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice

13. Changes to These Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time
  • Material changes notified via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect
  • Continued use after effective date constitutes acceptance of revised Terms
  • If you do not accept revised Terms, close your account

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the jurisdiction of Australian courts. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Contact support@netridepro.com.au before initiating any formal dispute — most issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication.

15. General

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, form the entire agreement between you and NetRidePRO.

Severability

If any provision is unenforceable, remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.

No Waiver

Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it in future.

Assignment

You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
